Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control traps, removes, manages and
controls most animal species, including bats.

Our bat control services
include the removal and
control of problem bats from urban, rural and suburban
areas. While
Washington bats are mostly beneficial animals, they can become a
nuisance for homeowners and property managers. Problems with bats are
usually related to several species which tend to roost in, on and
around structures.
Northwest Nuisance Wildlife Control
can remove bats
from any type of structure without trapping or harming these unique,
flying mammals.
Unwanted bats roosting in attics and crawlspaces, voids
and gaps between walls and beams, over patios and doorways and other
places are "evicted" using one-way check valves. After the bats have
been evicted (left the structure), we seal their previous entry points to make sure your bat problem is
solved permanently. We
also remove bats from the inside of homes and structures, and bats that
are roosting exposed on outdoor walls, shutters, entrance way ceilings
and other places. If your problem bats have left a mess in your
home, please ask us about our bat guano, odor removal, disinfection and
general cleanup services.
Over
14 species of bats occur in the Pacific Northwest. We manage most
of them, including the silver-haired bat which is the most common
carrier of rabies across the USA.
Some species of bats are more commonly associated with buildings
and structures than others. These species generally include the big brown bat,
little brown bat, pallid bat, California and Yuma myotis bats and
Western pipistrelle bat.
Contrary to popular belief, bats are
not blind and rarely become entangled in one's hair. Bats are often
thought to be rodents, but are actually mammals. In fact, they are the
world's only true flying mammal.
Our Bat Control Programs consist of consultation services, non-lethal eviction, habitat modifications,
clean outs, finding and sealing bat entry points and more.
Whatever your bat removal and
control needs might
be, give us a ring. You might be surprised at how little it costs to
remove bats from your house or structure without the use of harmful
toxicants or trapping.

If
you should encounter an active bat in your house be
tolerant. Remember that the Chinese consider bats to be a symbol
of good luck and long life.
